B2096-10: This accretion consists of a copy of the Queens West Development Corporation site produced on December 20, 2010, shortly before Governor David A. Paterson (2008-2010) left office. It contains information about the history of the Hunters Point (Queens, N.Y) area, the mission of the corporation, and an overview of the corporation's two-stage plan to transform the Hunters Point waterfront into a residential and commercial neighborhood.
Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, most of the information in the "Photo Gallery" section and some of the information in the "News and Events" section could not be captured properly in late 2010.
B2096-15: This accretion consists of a copy of the Queens West Development Corporation Web site produced on March 6, 2015, shortly after Governor Andrew Cuomo (2011- ) completed his first term of office. It contains information about the history of the Hunters Point (Queens, N.Y) area, the mission of the corporation, press releases (2009), and an overview of the corporation's two-stage plan to transform the Hunters Point waterfront into a residential and commercial neighborhood.
Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, most of the content in the "Photo Gallery" section could not be captured properly in 2015.
Researchers should note that some time after this copy was produced, this site was removed from the live Web and much of its content was incorporated into the website of the corporation's parent body, the Empire State Development Corporation.
