Custodial History
These records were burned in the 1911 State Capitol Fire. They were most likely transferred to the New York State Archives from the New York State Library in 1978 along with what was referred to as the "Legislative Petitions," but somehow became strayed from those records. They were subsequently re-identified by State Archives staff in 2005 as part of a project to integrate or describe estrayed or unidentified records. The series may have been part of Series A0204, Legislative Petitions.
Access Restrictions
Restricted indefinitely due to extreme burn damage, which precludes any definitive identification or description.
