15763-97: This accretion contains engineer's daily project diaries (one volume) and inspector's daily reports (two volumes) documenting reconstruction of South Swan Street from June 1970 through February 1972. The engineer's diaries show job stamp (contract and specification numbers, and contractor); date and inspector's report reference page number; weather conditions and high/low temperatures; inspector's name and report number; notes on work assignment and identification; and signatures of the consulting engineers and engineer in charge.
The inspector's reports (numbered IR-1 through IR-568) show job stamp (contract and specification numbers, and contractor); date and inspector's report number; weather conditions and high/low temperatures; description of work performed and inspected (including earthwork construction inspector's daily report); and signatures of the inspector, resident engineer, and engineer in charge.
Records pertain only to reconstruction of South Swan Street (Contract No. D42752; Spec. No. 23446-GE). They may be duplicated in other accretions of the series, or may have been removed for unknown purposes and not refiled.
