Scope and Content Note
This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible websites of the Capital District Transportation Authority.
B2060-07: This accretion consists of a copy of the Capital District Transportation Authority site that was produced on May 4, 2007, shortly after Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains annual reports (2005, 2006), news releases (2007), an annual budget (2007-2008), and information about the authority's executive director and board of directors. Also included are schedules, lists of fares, route maps, and other information about bus services, as well as information about the authority's passenger rail stations in Rensselaer and Saratoga Springs.
B2060-08: This accretion consists of a copy of the Capital District Transportation Authority site that was produced on May 9, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). It contains additional annual reports (2005-2007) and news releases (2007-2008), and a newer annual budget (2008-2009). Also included are route change and service alerts (2005-2008), brochures outlining the authority's current and future transportation system plans, and updated information about the authority's bus services and passenger rail stations.
B2060-11: This accretion contains a copy of the Capital District Transportation Authority website produced on January 13, 2011, shortly after Governor David A. Paterson (2008-2010) left office. It contains additional annual reports (2004-2010), news releases (2009-2010), and annual budgets (2007-2011), and newer route change and service alerts (2010). Also included is updated information about the authority's bus services and passenger rail stations.
This accretion also contains copies of the Capital District Transportation Authority YouTube page that was captured on April 28, 2011. Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live pages and the limitations of Web archiving technology, most of the information contained within these pages could not be captured properly.
Researchers should also note that repeated attempts to capture the authority's Twitter feed in 2011 were not successful.
B2160-20: This accretion contains a copy of the Capital District Transportation Authority website produced on March 25, 2020 during the third term of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo (2011-). It contains additional annual reports (2004-2019), newer annual budgets (2007-2018), and recent route changes and service alerts (2020). Also included are meeting agendas (2016-2020) and minutes (2016-2019) of the authority's board of directors and its Governance, Operations, and other committees, audit presentations (2011-2012), annual performance reports (2012-2019), an investment report (2016), summary lists of procurement opportunities (2010-2020), and lists of bidders (2010-2019). Updated information about the authority's bus services and passenger rail stations is also present.
Researchers should note that the video files included in the live site were deliberately excluded from this copy on account of their size.
