Scope and Content Note
This series consists of individual personnel files containing copies of notifications of salary, travel and other expense vouchers, memoranda on personnel matters, receipts, notices of appointment, newspaper clippings, invitations, resumes, and various financial forms.
The records for the most part document salary, travel expenses, and other work-related expenses incurred by MPD personnel as they traveled throughout the state reviewing films and meeting with theater owners and operators. The files of former Division directors and assistant directors sometimes contain copies of correspondence and memoranda discussing actions taken by the Division against films deemed offensive or about court decisions affecting rulings by the Division.
