The Hugh L. Carey Battery Park City Authority is a New York State public benefit corporation created by the State Legislature in 1968. Its mission is to plan, create, co-ordinate, and maintain a balanced community of commercial, residential, retail, and park space within its designated 92-acre site on Manhattan's lower west side.
Scope and Content Note
This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible website of the Hugh L. Carey Battery Park City Authority.

Owing to the site's extensive use of Javascript and the limitations of Web archiving technology, only the pages containing contact information for the authority's departments and the site's privacy policy and terms of usage were captured successfully.

Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, the appearance of the archived site differs substantially from that of the live site.
