D. Mallory Stephens was a Republican politician who represented Putnam County in the New York State Assembly from 1926-1952. During his career as an assemblyman, Stephens served on the Way and Means Committee and from 1943-1952 was its Chairman. He also served as a member of the New York State War Council.
