Senator Caesar Trunzo, a Republican, was first elected to the Senate in 1972 while serving as a member of the Town of Islip Council (1965-1972). He represented the 3rd Senate District, which consists of parts of the Towns of Islip and Brookhaven, both of which are in Suffolk County.

This series consists of archival copies of the official website of Senator Caesar Trunzo.
B2266-06: This accretion consists of an archival copy of Senator Trunzo's official website produced on December 22, 2006, shortly before Governor Caesar E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains biographical information; photographs; a district map; and press releases (2001-2006) concerning legislation Senator Trunzo sponsored, programs and services in the 3rd Senate District, and other matters of interest to Senator Trunzo's constituents. The results of a 2006 Long Island Rail Road commuter survey that Senator Trunzo sponsored, related correspondence between Senator Trunzo and the railroad's acting president, and information about a property tax rebate program and property tax relief measures in the 2006-07 Executive Budget are also included.
B2266-08: This accretion consists of a copy of Senator Trunzo's official website produced on June 10, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). It contains biographical information, photographs, a district map, and press releases (2008) concerning legislation temporarily suspending the state gasoline tax and events taking place in the 3rd Senate District. Also included are overviews of the 2008-09 Executive Budget and its health and mental health provisions and information about state funding for Long Island public schools, a Senate Republican proposal to enact a constitutional state spending cap, and other matters of importance to Senator Trunzo's constituents.
