This series consists of 3" x 5" index cards with typescript information on Governor Mario Cuomo's proclamations, press releases announcing appointments (labeled "appointments"), addresses, and general press releases (labeled "miscellaneous") and various special messages. The index was created by staff of the Executive Chamber to provide access to the governor's files.
Each card shows the category of record and gives a brief description of the document indexed, including names of pertinent persons, agencies, or subjects. In the upper right corner is a consecutive number which corresponds to the order of the document in the file. Cards are color coded by year.
