This series consists of lists of newspapers authorized to publish proposals for printing the session laws.
List names newspapers by county, gives a date (of publication), and is signed at the end by the Secretary of State. Attached is a list of newspapers which published the Comptroller's notice for the $800,000 Loan, June 18, 1862. A law of 1847 required sealed proposals to be received for the printing of the Session Laws. A law of 1858 specified amount printers were to be paid for publication of notices.
