Senator Serphin R. Maltese, a Republican, was first elected to the Senate in 1988 and left office in December 2008. He represented the 15th Senate District, which consists of all or part of the Queens neighborhoods of Howard Beach, South Ozone Park, Ozone Park, Woodhaven, Richmond Hills, Cypress Hills, Glendale, Middle Village, Ridgewood, Maspeth, Rego Park, Elmhurst, and Sunnyside. He chaired the following standing committees: Cities (2003-2008), Consumer Protection (1991-1992), Elections (1995-2002), and Veterans (1989-1990).

This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible website of Senator Serphin R. Maltese.
B2238-06: This accretion consists of an archival copy of Senator Maltese's official website produced on December 21, 2006, shortly before Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains biographical information, photographs, press releases (2000-2006), and a district map. It also includes a list of special legislative resolutions that Senator Maltese sponsored in 2006, and a list of recipients of Senator Maltese's 2006 legislative member items. Information about tax rebates and other tax relief provisions contained within the 2006-07 Executive Budget and other matters of interest to Senator Maltese's constituents is also included.
B2238-08: This accretion consists of a copy of Senator Maltese's official website produced on June 12, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). It contains biographical information, photographs, press releases (2008), a district map, and a list of recipients of Senator Maltese's 2007 legislative member items. Also included are a list of bills (1989-2007) that Senator Maltese sponsored and were signed into law and information regarding other matters of interest to Senator Maltese's constituents.
