The Development Authority of the North Country was created in 1985 to oversee economic development activities in Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence Counties, which surround the United States Army base at Fort Drum.
Scope and Content Note
This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible website of the Development Authority of the North Country. Researchers should note that this site was not captured in 2006 or 2007.
B2082-08: This accretion consists of a copy of the Development Authority of the North Country site produced on April 29, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). It contains minutes of board meetings (2006-2008), annual reports (2005-06 and 2006-07), and information about the authority's history, mission, and organizational structure. Information about the authority's business and housing development programs, solid waste management facility, water and sewer lines and facilities, telecommunications network, and transportation studies is also included.

Paterson (2008-2010) left office. It newer board meeting minutes (2009-2010) and resolutions (2010), audits (2006-2010), and fiscal year annual budget resolutions (2007-2011). Also present are internal controls assessments (2008-2010), investment reports (2006-2010), annual budget reports (2008-2012), annual financial summaries (2006-2010), annual progress reports (2009-2010), and other fiscal reports. Community reports (2006-2009), a solid waste management virtual photo tour, and telecommunications network, sewer line, and waterline maps are also included.

Descriptions of and maps of three nature trails maintained by the authority are also included.
