Administrative History
The Regents College Scholarships were established in 1913 (Chapter 292).
Awards, usable at any approved college in New York State, were made on the basis of scores achieved on the Regents examinations for the College Entrance Diploma through 1943. Subsequently they were made on the basis of Regents Scholarship Examination results or a combination of results from both examinations.
