Carl Andrews was first elected to the Senate in a February 2002 special election. He represented the 20th Senate District, which consists of sections of the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Boro Park, Crown Heights, Flatbush, Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Sunset Park, and Windsor Terrace.

This series consists of an archival copy of the official website of Senator Carl Andrews produced on June 12, 2006, shortly before Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It includes biographical information, photographs of Senator Andrews and his constituents, press releases (2006), a newsletter (2005), and mailers (2005) concerning identity theft and other issues of interest to Senator Andrews's constituents. A map of the 20th Senate District and information about services for constituents are also included.
