Scope and Content Note
This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible website of Senator Thomas W. Libous. Researchers should note that in 2009, each Senator was allotted space on the main Senate Website and the official sites of individual Senators were removed from the live Web.
B2236-06: This accretion consists of an archival copy of Senator Libous's official website produced on December 21, 2006, shortly before Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains biographical information, photographs, a district map, and press releases (2002-2006) concerning state-funded projects in Broome, Tioga, and Chenango counties and other developments of interest to Senator Libous's constituents.
B2236-08: This accretion consists of a copy of Senator Libous's official website produced on June 14, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). It contains biographical information, photographs, lists (2004-2008) of Senator Libous's legislative member items, and press releases (2007-2008) relating to the work of the Select Committee on the Disabled and the Standing Committee on Transportation and other matters of interest to Senator Libous's constituents. It also includes information for firefighters working in the 52nd Senate District and about colleges and universities located in the district. Information about farm stands, farmers' markets, and farms located within the 52nd Senate District and outdoor activities within the district is also present.
Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, the appearance of this copy differs substantially from that of the live site.
