Scope and Content Note
This series consists of handwritten certificates of payment by the Treasurer in compensation for service in the Revolutionary War. The certificates provide name of individual and monetary amount issued by the Treasurer. A significant amount of information is lost due to burn damage sustained in the 1911 New York State Capitol building fire. Volumes are in fragile condition due to burn damage.
