Researchers should note that, owing to its structure, this copy also includes almost all of the information found on the main DOB site as of December 23, 2006; clicking on the "Home" link at the top right of each Publications page will bring up the home page of the main site.
B2055-08: This accretion includes a copy of the main DOB site that was produced on May 13, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). It contains overviews, agency presentations, financial plans, 30-day amendments, legislative bills, and other records relating to the state's Executive Budget (1999-2000 through 2008-09). Also included are meeting materials (2008) of and information about the Public Authorities Control Board and aid to local governments for citizens interested in the state's budget. Researchers should note that although the navigational links at the left-hand side of each page may appear blank, mousing over these links will reveal labeled links that work properly.
This accretion also contains a copy of the DOB Publications site that was produced on May 20, 2008. It contains overviews, agency presentations, financial plans, 30-day amendments, legislative bills, and other records relating to the 2008-09 and 2007-08 Executive Budgets. Researchers should note the the Publications site was removed from the live Web some time after this copy was produced; information previously made available on this site was incorporated into the main Division of the Budget site.
B2055-14: This accretion consists of copies of two sites maintained by the Division of the Budget. Owing to the limitations of Web archiving technology, most of the information contained within the Open Budget site (copied February 26, 2014) could not be copied properly. However, this copy does include charts (2014-2015) depicting revenue and expenditures and textual documents and, in some instances, downloadable spreadsheets relating to Executive Budget Financial Plans (1990-2000 through 2014-2015), Executive Budget Financial Plan Updates (1999-2000 through 2014-2015), Enacted Budget Financial Plans (1997-1998 through 2013-2014), Enacted Budget July Updates (1998-1999 through 2013-2014, with gaps), and Enacted Budget Mid-Year Updates (1954-1955 through 2013-2014, with gaps).
The Grants Reform website (copied March 5, 2014) contains information about the Grants Gateway application portal that all state agency grant programs began using as of January 1, 2014, a copy of the state's new Master Contract for Grants, and forms and guidelines for state agencies and grantees. Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, neither the Grants Gateway system itself nor the training videos posted on the Grants Reform site could be captured properly.
B2055-20: This accretion contains a copy of the Division of the Budget site produced on December 30, 2019. It contains information about the division's history and organizational structure, press releases (2007-2019), the published versions of the state's Executive Budgets and Enacted Budgets and associated briefing books, agency presentations, legislation, projections, reports, and other materials (1999-2000 through 2019-2020). Also included are Capital Program and Financing Plans (2006-2007 through 2019-2020), School Aid programs (2005-2006 through 2019-2020), and information about Community Projects Fund initiatives (2003-2008). A citizen's guide to the budget process and an investor's guide for buyers of state-issued bonds are also present.
Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live site, most of the information associated with the State Agency Guide and Public Authorities Control Board sections of this site could not be captured properly.
This accretion also includes copies of three other sites maintained by the Division of the Budget. The New York Bonds site (captured December 31, 2019) contains information about the types of bonds he state issues, the state's budget and finances (2019-2020) and credit ratings, and a Frequently Asked Questions section for prospective investors. The Voluntary Defined Contribution Plan site (copied January 15, 2020) consists of a single webpage that provides summary information about the state's retirement program for select employees who did not wish to join the state's existing pension system.
Owing to the limitations of Web archiving technology, most of the information contained within the Open Budget site (copied December 31, 2019) could not be captured properly. However, this copy does include charts (2019-2020) depicting revenue and expenditures and textual documents and, in some instances, downloadable spreadsheets relating to Executive Budget Financial Plans (1990-2000 through 2019-2020), Executive Budget Financial Plan Updates (1999-2000 through 2019-2020), Enacted Budget Financial Plans (1997-1998 through 2019-2020), Enacted Budget July Updates (1998-1999 through 2019-2020, with gaps), and Enacted Budget Mid-Year Updates (1954-1955 through 2019-2020, with gaps).
