Scope and Content Note
This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible website of Senator Kemp Hannon.
B2224-06: This accretion contains an archival copy of Senator Hannon's official Website produced on December 21, 2006, shortly before Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains a biography and a district map. Researchers should note that this site was removed from the live Web some time between late 2006 and mid-2008.
This accretion also includes a copy of another site maintained by Senator Hannon that was produced on December 20, 2006. It contains information about and photographs of the communities within Senator Hannon's district and information about the 2006-2007 Executive Budget, a state school property tax rebate, and other matters of interest to Senator Hannon's constituents. Information about the State Commission on Health Care Facilities in the 21st Century, commonly known as the Berger Commission, a transcript of a December 1, 2006 Senate Standing Committee on Health hearing concerning the Berger Commission's recommendations, and the 2006 annual report of the Senate Standing Committee on Health are also included.
Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, some of the information contained within this site could not be captured properly.
B2224-08: This accretion consists of a copy of Senator Hannon's Website produced on June 10, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, most of the information contained within this site could not be captured in mid-2008. Only the home page, a household disaster checklist, a guide to preventing identity theft, and a guide to Internet safety for children could be copied successfully.
B2224-10: This accretion consists of a copy of Senator Hannon's Website produced on December 29, 2010, shortly before Governor David A. Paterson (2008-2010) left office.
