Administrative History
The Deputy Commissioner for Business Development's office provides a range of services supporting local economic development, which are designed to promote economic and job growth by existing firms in New York State and to encourage out-of-state firms to locate in New York. Through regional offices, it assists businesses and local economic development professionals in accessing the State's many programs, and assists central State agencies and authorities in delivering their services.
