This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible websites of the Governor's Office of Employee Relations.
B2106-07: This accretion contains a copy of the Governor's Office of Employee Relations main site produced on April 6, 2007, after Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains information about the office's mission and organizational structure, an agency directory (2007), resources for employees represented by labor unions as well as those in Management/Confidential positions, employee handbooks (2007), and guides to benefits such as health insurance, the New York State and Local Retirement System, and worker's compensation. Information about training events for employees (2007) and salary schedules of all employee positions (1995-2007) is also included.
This accretion also includes copies of three other sites maintained by the Governor's Office of Employee Relations. The office's Employee Assistance Program site (copied on December 26, 2006) contains information about the program's mission and organizational structure. Additional content concerns the LifeWorks program, a consultation and referral service that helps State employees with parenting, education, retirement, personal budgeting, disability, and physical and mental health issues such as substance abuse, domestic violence, or gambling addiction. Information about the NYS Ride program to help save on public transportation costs and a listing of worksite childcare centers throughout the state (2006) are also included. The Flex Spending Account site (copied on May 9, 2007) contains information about the program's mission and organizational structure and about enrollment in the Flex Spending Account program's Health Care Spending Account and Dependent Care Advantage Account.The State Jobs NY site (copied on December 26, 2006) contains information about internships and current vacancies in state government (2006). Researchers should note that owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, some of the information contained within this site could not be captured properly. Researchers should also note that there is no "Home Page" link on this site; use the Web browser's "Back" button to return to the main page. In addition, the "Job Search" function does not work.

Spitzer (2007-2008). It contains background information about the office, an agency directory (2008), resources for employees represented by labor unions as well as those in management/confidential positions, employee handbooks (2008), and guides to benefits such as health insurance, the New York State and Local Retirement System, and worker's compensation. Also present is information about training events (2008) and employee salary schedules (1995-2011).

2106-10: This accretion contains a copy of the Governor's Office of Employee Relations website produced on December 20, 2010, shortly before Governor David A. Paterson (2008-2010) left office. It contains background information about the office, an agency directory (2010), and resources for employees represented by labor unions and those in Management/Confidential positions; much of this information is included in previous copies of the site. Also present is information about training events for employees (2010-2011) and employee salary schedules (1995-2011).
This accretion also includes copies of three other sites maintained by the office. Most of the information contained in the Work-Life Services site (copied on December 17, 2010) is also found in the 2007 and 2008 copies of the Employee Assistance Program site. Most of the information included in the Flex Spending Account site (copied on December 17, 2010) consists of updated information similar to that found in previous copies of the site. Researchers should note that some time after this site was copied, it was removed from the live Web and its content was incorporated into the main Governor's Office of Employee Relations website. The State Jobs NY site (copied December 10, 2010) also consists of updated information similar to that found in older copies. Researchers should note that owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, some of the information contained within the State Jobs NY site could not be captured properly.
B2106-15: This accretion contains a copy of the Governor's Office of Employee Relations site produced on February 10, 2015, shortly after Governor Andrew Cuomo (2011- ) completed his first term of office. It contains background information about the office, an agency directory (2015), information about unions and bargaining units, contracts (1991-2016) between the state and the fourteen unions representing its employees, vendor information (2014-2015), and resources for employees represented by labor unions as well as those in Management/Confidential positions; content includes handbooks (2011-2012), information about safety and health, computer workstation ergonomics, worker's compensation, and information and forms for the Voluntary Reduction in Work Schedule Program (VRWS). Also included is information about training and development courses and salary schedules for all state employee positions (2005-2015).
Also included in this accretion are copies of three other sites maintained by the Governor's Office of Employee Relations as of early 2015. Most of the information in the State Jobs NY site (copied February 11, 2015) and the Employee Relations Work-Life Services site (copied on February 11, 2015) consists of updated versions of that found within older copies. Researchers should note that these sites were removed from the live Web some time after these copies were produced. Information formerly found on the Employee Relations Work-Life site was added to the main Governor's Office of Employee Relations site, and some of the content formerly included in the State Jobs NY site was integrated into the main New York State website.
The Statewide Learning Management System site (copied February 10, 2015) contains information about the system, which is a web–based platform that enables New York State agencies to manage and deliver online training. Included are instructions, forms, newsletters (2012-2013), features, and information about offered courses for training in Microsoft software (2013). Researchers should note that owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, most of this site could not be captured properly.
B2106-20: This accretion contains a copy of the Governor's Office of Employee Relations website produced on February 18, 2020. It contains background information about the office, copies of the most recent contracts between the state and the fourteen unions representing its employees (dates vary by bargaining unit), and salary schedules (dates vary by bargaining unit). Information about the Employee Assistance Program, employee benefits, training opportunities available to members of each bargaining unit, and a handbook for Management/Confidential employees (2018) are also included. Of note is information relating to Executive Order 187 (2018), which made the office responsible for investigating allegations of discrimination made by any employee, intern, contractor, or other person working for an department or agency under the Governor's control; resources include a handbook for state government personnel and information about how to file a complaint.
This accretion also includes a February 20, 2020 copy of the Statewide Learning Management System site. Most of the information found within this copy duplicates or is an updated version of the information found within the February 10, 2015 copy. Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, most of the information contained within this site could not be captured.
Custodial History
The New York State Archives used Web archiving software to copy these websites in order to preserve the information they contain.
