Scope and Content Note
A4443-95: Microfilmed records are of a wide variety of archival Town of Eastchester records. Included are town board minutes; account transactions; history reports; annual budgets; and tax assessment rolls. Early town records consist, in part, of town meeting minutes; book of stray cattle; book of the overseers of the poor; accounts of the town; election records; oaths of office; school records; and military payrolls.
A4443-97: Microfilmed records in this accretion include warrant copies of tax rolls and police blotters from the Town of Eastchester. Warrant copies of tax rolls document the date and payee on all town properties (1911-1995). Police blotters record date and description of police activities and subsequent outcomes (1932-1995).

Custodial History
This microfilm was produced by grants awarded and administered by SARA's Local Government Records Services for the1994 and 1996 grant cycles. Grantees submitted two copies of each roll of project film: a silver copy for secure storage at the State Records Center; and a duplicate copy, containing only non-restricted records, for public use at the State Archives research room.
Use copies of rolls containing restricted records are not maintained by the Archives, and are withdrawn from public use at time of accessioning. Security copies of such rolls are held at the State Records Center and are subject to restrictions under law.
A4443-95:Restricted film was so marked and use copies were weeded at time of accession; 43 rolls of master negatives (security copy) were sent to the State Records Center (TL 95-8, 9).
A4443-97:Restricted film was so marked and use copies were weeded at time of accession; 134 rolls of master negatives (security copy) were sent to the State Records Center.
