Scope and Content Note
This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible websites of the Environmental Facilities Corporation. Researchers should note that these sites were not captured in 2014 or 2015.
B2090-07: This accretion contains a copy of the Environmental Facilities Corporation site produced on April 10, 2007, shortly after Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains information about the corporation's mission and board of directors, board meeting minutes (2007), and the corporation's budget and financial plan (2007-08). It also contains annual reports (2005-2006), press releases (2000-2007), and materials relating to the corporation's funding programs for farmers, businesses, and local governments. Also included are official statements (2003-2007) and annual statements (2002-2006) concerning the corporation's bond offerings.
Researchers should note that the "Press Releases" and "Annual Report" links on the left side of most pages do not work properly. The press releases can be accessed by clicking the "About Us" link at the bottom of the page and then clicking the "News" link that appears on the left side of the resulting page. The annual reports can be accessed by clicking on the "About Us" link at the bottom of each page, clicking the "Forms and Documents" link on the left side of the resulting page, clicking "Finance Center," and then clicking on "Annual Reports."
Researchers should also note that, owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, much of the information contained within the "Finance Center" section of the site was not captured properly. However, some of this information is also contained within the "About Us" section of the site and can be accessed via the "About Us" or "Sitemap" links at the bottom of each page.
This accretion also includes a December 26, 2006 copy of the corporation's Water and Sewer Infrastructure Co-Funding Initiative site. It contains information about state and federal funding programs for local government water and sewer projects. Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, only part of this site was captured successfully.
B2090-08: This accretion contains a copy of the Environmental Facilities Corporation site produced on May 8, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). Most of the information it contains is also included in the April 10, 2007 copy, but this copy includes additional press releases (2000-2008) and newer official statements (2002-2008) and annual statements (2002-2007) concerning the corporation's bond offerings.
This accretion also includes a May 7, 2008 copy of the corporation's Water and Sewer Infrastructure Co-Funding Initiative site. Most of the information in this copy is also included in the December 26, 2006 copy, but this copy contains presentations (2007-2008) concerning individual programs and specific water and sewer infrastructure projects. Researchers should note that most of the information in this site could not be captured properly and that this copy was inaccessible as of August 2021.
B2090-11: This accretion consists of a copy of the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation site produced on August 24, 2011, several months after Governor David A. Paterson (2008-2010) left office. It contains draft and final intended use plans for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (2011) and an events calendar (August 2011). Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, most of this site could not be captured in August 2011. Researchers should also note that clicking on the links on the top of the home page may redirect to the live version of the site.
This accretion also includes a December 20, 2010 copy of the corporation's Water and Sewer Infrastructure Co-Funding Initiative site. It contains additional presentations (2007-2009) concerning individual programs and specific water and sewer infrastructure projects. Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, some of the information on this site could not be captured properly. Researchers should also note that this site was removed from the live Web some time after it was copied.
B2090-20: This accretion consists of copies of the Environmental Facilities Corporation produced on January 23, 2020 and March 2, 2020, during the third term of office of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo (2011-present). They contain updated information about the corporation's mission and leadership and newer press releases (2019). They also include information about the corporation's Clean Water State Revolving Fund and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan programs and its grant programs for engineering planning, green innovation, green sewer system construction, and intermunicipal water infrastructure. Information about the corporation's programs for green vessels, eastern New York septic system rehabilitation, statewide septic system replacement, emergency financial assistance, industrial financing, and small business environmental assistance is also present.
Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, repeated efforts to capture the board of directors meeting minutes and resolutions, annual reports, budgets and financial plans, audit reports, operational policies, and grant program forms and guidelines contained within the live site were unsuccessful.
