B2065-06: This accretion consists of a copy of the Commission of Correction Web site produced on December 26, 2006, shortly before Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains information about the history and functions of the commission, reports (2006) issued by the commission, summary information about the number of inmates in state and local correctional facilities (1995-2006), and commissioners' memoranda (1998-2006) outlining policies concerning inmate medical care, use of inmate labor, correctional officer training, and a wide array of other state and local government correctional facility operations.
This copy also contains incident, inmate transfer, juvenile detention, statistical reporting, and other forms to be completed by correctional facility administrators and manuals (2008) outlining minimum standards for county correctional facilities and police lockups. Also included are a manual (1998) concerning the calculation of jail time to be served by inmates of county jails and reports (1999-2002) summarizing sections of the state Correction Law of particular interest to correctional facility administrators, attorneys, and others interested in the state's correctional system.

It contains annual reports (2008-2013), reports (2006-2007, 2010-2011, 2013) issued by the commission, statistical information about the number of inmates in state and local correctional facilities (2005-2014), and commissioners' memoranda (1998-2014) outlining policies concerning inmate medical care, use of inmate labor, correctional officer training, and other matters. This copy also contains incident, inmate transfer, juvenile detention, statistical reporting, and other forms to be completed by correctional facility administrators as well as manuals concerning adult lockup management (2013), reportable incidents (2013), medication guidelines (2013), transcription guidelines (2013).
B2065-20: This accretion consists of a copy of the State Commission of Correction site produced on January 13, 2020. It contains information about the commission's mission and leadership, annual reports (2011-2018), inmate population statistics (2006-2016), and training videos. Also included are a reportable incident manual (2016) and copies of forms to be completed by correctional facility administrators. Chairman's memoranda (1998-2020) concerning legislation and other legal developments affecting correctional facility operations and programs, medical conditions affecting inmates and provision of medical care to inmates, staff training, and other matters. Researchers should note that, in many instances, documents referenced in these memoranda were not placed online.
