Administrative History
William J. Ronan was a member of the commission from 1965 to 1967, and also served as chairman of the Subcommittee on State Government, Legislative Apportionment, Suffrage and Methods of Constitutional Amendment. Ronan, former secretary to Governor Nelson Rockefeller, served concurrently as a member of the commission and as the first chairman of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

Custodial History
10992-02: These records were stored at the records center of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority prior to transfer to the State Archives in 1993. The records were accessioned in conjunction with a facility renovation project undertaken in 2002.
