Scope and Content Note
The series consists of a log of microfilmed contagious diseases records (1916-1972) produced by the Department of Health and sent to Kodak for processing. The log shows a type and year of communicable disease outbreak, apparent reel numbers, and date sent. The records sent for microfilming were apparently statistics of cases reported to the Department of Health in accordance with state law. Scattered throughout the log are notes on outcomes of film processing, such as records obliterated, missing, or mistakes in filming (exposure, inadequate leader, etc.). There is no textual or statistical information about diseases included in the log.
