Wilson, Special Assistant for Education in the Education Unit of the Division of the Budget. The School Finance Law Study was funded by a grant to the Regents by the U.S. government, under provisions of U.S.P.L. 93-380, Title 8, Section 842, the Education Amendments of 1974. The aim of the project was to consolidate and simplify the many overlapping school aids established at various times by the Legislature. Project staff members were to develop a database on school finance as the grounds for their recommendations.
