Records of overtime worked and employee time reports are included for the twentieth century portion of the series.

Scope and Content Note
This series consists of payroll records (October 1869-August 1878) for employees of Willard Asylum for the Insane (later Willard State Hospital). Payroll for each month includes employee name; service (position); rate per month; time worked; amount due; signature of employee (for early years); and remarks (few). Total amounts are given for each month.
B1466-02: This accretion consists of payroll records (1878-1887), records of overtime worked (1946-1947), and employee time reports (1949-1952, 1957-1960).
Custodial History
These records were transferred to the State Archives from Willard Psychiatric Center at the time of its closure in April, 1995.
B1466-02: These records were transferred to the State Archives in 2002.
