Custodial History
The documents were donated to the New York State Archives by Grexan Wulff of River Vale, NJ via Wulff's agent, Nancy L. Mathews of Escanaba, MI. Records are a very small remnant of the large mass of similar writs and other filed documents that were once filed in the New York County Clerk's Office and were disposed of by the court clerks before the early 20th century.
