This series includes records from activities relating to the initial investigation of the Love Canal site (the early period, approximately 1977-1984), the development and implementation of the "decision on habitability" and revitalization efforts (approximately 1984-1991), and the execution of the follow-up health study (approximately 1987-2011). Series contains public and non-public reports, papers, plans and articles; internal and external correspondence with local, state, and federal governments and homeowners; outreach materials; subject files; expert panel and other meeting minutes and notes; resident health questionnaires and medical records; maps and aerial photographs of the Canal site; photographic records and recordings of various early period activities; computer printouts; draft documents; and environmental investigation materials and analyses.

B2569-20: An aerial image of the Love Canal site signed by various federal and state officials was added to this accretion in April 2021. The poster is addressed to former Deputy Commissioner Huffaker and is believed to have been presented to him upon his retirement."
