Scope and Content Note
This series documents the oral arguments given in the New York State Court of Appeals between the years 1997 and 2010. Also included are six court calendars in accession J2023-06, dated between the years 2002 and 2003, that give the schedule of cases to be heard that day, the case number and title, and the allotted time for the attorneys to argue their case.
The series contains some cases involving prominent parties such as the State of New York, the City of New York, Governor George Pataki, Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, the City of Buffalo, the New York Times, the Daily News, and the State Farm Insurance Company. Accretion J2023-11 contains "Matter of World Trade Center Bombing Litigation."
