Senator Elizabeth O'C. Little, a Republican, was first elected to the Senate in 2002. She represents the 45th Senate District, which consists of Clinton County, Essex County, Franklin County, Hamilton County, Washington County, and northern Saratoga County. She has served as ranking minority member of the Standing Committee on Local Government, chair of the Senate Republican Program Development Committee, and secretary of the Legislative Sportsperson's Caucus.
Scope and Content Note
This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible website of Senator Elizabeth O'C. Little. Researchers should note that in 2009, each Senator was allotted space on the main Senate website and the official sites of individual Senators were removed from the live Web.
B2237-06: This accretion consists of an archival copy of Senator Little's official website produced on December 21, 2006, shortly before Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains biographical information, photographs, a district map, and press releases (2003-2006) concerning boating safety and other legislation that Senator Little sponsored or supported, funding for programs and services in the 45th Senate District, and other matters of interest to Senator Little's constituents. Also present is information about identity theft, school property tax rebates, and tax relief provisions contained within the 2006-07 Executive Budget.
B2237-08: This accretion consists of a copy of Senator Little's official website produced on June 13, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). It contains biographical information, photographs, a district map, and press releases (2008) concerning legislation that Senator Little sponsored, the Camp Gabriels Correctional Facility, and other matters of interest to Senator Little's constituents.
Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, some of the information contained within this site could not be captured in mid-2008.
