Summary
- This series consists of inventories of equipment on wards at Willard State Hospital. Items inventoried include office furniture and equipment; recreational, janitorial, and medical equipment; and hospital furniture, apparatus, and equipment. Each item notes quantity, condition, and number requested in the next budget period. Also included for each ward is a brief census of patients, with numbers of male and female patients. Patients are listed as tidy, untidy, and destructive. Numbers of patients are provided in three categories: bedridden, ambulatory, and wheelchair-bound.

Scope and Content Note
This series consists of inventories of equipment for eight wards of Willard State Hospital. Each inventory consists of approximately 15 pages of printed forms with typescript information. Items inventoried include office furniture and equipment; recreational, janitorial, and medical equipment; and hospital furniture, apparatus, and equipment. Numbers of each item present and condition is given, as well as the number of each item requested in the next budget period.
Also included for each ward is a brief census of patients, with numbers of male and female patients. Patients are listed as tidy, untidy, and destructive. Numbers of patients are given in categories of those "bed"[ridden], ambulatory, and [using a] "wheelchair."
Acquisition Information
These records were transferred to the State Archives from Willard Psychiatric Center at the time of its closure in April, 1995.
