Scope and Content Note
This series consists of program grant files relating to the creation, development, and operation of select technical assistance grant projects in the Council on the Arts program areas. Program areas contained in this series include Architecture, Planning, and Design; Electronic Media and Film; Dance; Literature; Special Arts Services; and Visual Arts. Materials of note include the New York State Literary Map, the development of the Northwestern Technical Assistance Initiative, DanceForce fiscal year summaries, Artist Workspace Consortium reports, condition assessment reports of historical buildings, and entries from the Inner-City Infill Housing Competition.
There are a few instances in which files include technical assistance grant applications or grant distribution history. Most of the program grant files include bound reports highlighting the results of the grant projects, correspondence, and conference materials.
