Administrative History
The Board of Trustees exercises authority over a vast array of matters, many of a recurring nature. In the course of a year, the board is likely to take up resolutions that relate to various subjects: a master plan for the State University (required by statute every four years); submission of operations budget requests and legislative proposals; new policies and procedures; rulemaking; the appointment of State University campus presidents; the State University's retirement programs; and salary plan adjustments mandated or authorized by legislation and collective bargaining.
