This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible website of the Temporary Commission of Investigation, which was which was empowered to investigate "any matter concerning the public peace, public safety and public justice."
B2041-06: This accretion consists of a copy of the Temporary Commission of Investigation site that was produced on December 27, 2006, shortly before Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It includes information about commission members, information about the history and activities of the commission, and annual reports (1989, 1992-1994, 1996-2005) and reports concerning individual investigations of state and local government officials, employees, and law enforcement personnel (1965, 1992, 1995, 1998-2006).
B2041-08: This accretion consists of a copy of the Temporary Commission of Investigation site produced on May 7, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). Most of the information in it is also present in the December 27, 2008 copy, but this copy contains additional annual reports (1989, 1992-1994, 1996-2007) and reports concerning individual investigations of state and local government officials, employees, and law enforcement personnel (1965, 1992, 1995, 1998-2008).
B2041-09: This accretion consists of a copy of the Temporary Commission of Investigation site that was produced on April 2, 2009, one day after the commission permanently ceased operations. Most of the information in it is also present in previous copies of the site, but this copy includes additional annual reports (1989, 1992-1994, 1996-2008) and reports concerning individual investigations of state and local government officials, employees, and law enforcement personnel (1965, 1992, 1995, 1998-2009). The site was removed from the live Web shortly after this copy was made.
