Administrative History
The LeRoy Academic Institute was chartered by the Board of Regents in 1864 and continued as an academy until 1891/92 when it apparently became the LeRoy Union School.

This volume contains a record of the Regents academic examinations given at the LeRoy Academic Institute, LeRoy, Genesee County.
The following information is provided about each examination: date given; and name, age, residence, and (beginning in 1878) individual subject scores of each student taking the examination.
