Summary
- The series is a partial set of published annual reports produced by the New York Institution for Instruction of the Deaf and Dumb, prepared by its directors and submitted to the legislature. Included with the reports are some separate reports "in relation to the Deaf and Dumb" prepared by the secretary of state in his capacity as superintendent of common schools. The three volumes of reports were apparently gathered for purposes of historical reference.
