Scope and Content Note
This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible website of the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY). Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, repeated efforts to copy this site prior to mid-2008 and between 2014-2020 were not successful.
B2084-08: This accretion consists of a copy of the DASNY website produced on June 6, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). It contains information about the authority's mission and organizational structure, press releases (1997-2008), an annual report (2006), forms, and information about financial and construction services relating to facilities for higher education, health care providers, courts, and certain nonprofit institutions and public agencies. It also includes information about the authority's purchasing, interior design and integrated facilities management information systems, additional construction services, and sustainable construction for clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors. Information about the authority's bond monitoring and disclosure, energy planning financing programs, tax-exempt equipment leasing programs, and other financial services is also included.
B2084-10: This accretion consists of a copy of the DASNY site produced on December 24, 2010, shortly before Governor David A. Paterson (2008-2010) left office. It contains background information about the authority, press releases (1997-2010), annual reports (2004-2010), forms, and information about its financing, design and construction services, most of which is also included in the June 6, 2008 copy of the site.
B2084-20: This accretion consists of a copy of the DASNY site produced on February 10, 2020. It contains information about the authority's organization and role in financing, designing, and building higher education, healthcare, mental health, court system, and other public purpose facilities. Materials relating to the authority's leadership include meeting agendas and minutes of its governing board (2018-2020) and its Audit Committee, Corporate Governance Committee, and Finance Committee (2018-2019). Also included are the authority's bylaws, policies and guidelines governing its operations and the conduct of its board members and employees; press releases (2015-2020); newsletters (2014-2020); and information about current and recently awarded bids and Requests for Proposals (2018-2020). Annual reports (2011-2019), audited financial statements (2011-2019), annual bond sale reports (2011-2019), Tax Exempt Leasing Program annual reports (2010-2019), Public Authorities Accountability Act annual reports (2011-2019), a fee schedule (2019), and the authority's adopted (2015-2019) and proposed (2015-2020) budgets are also present. In addition, this copy contains information about the authority's subsidiaries, the NGHP Holding Corporation and the Atlantic Avenue Healthcare Property Holding Corporation, including meeting materials (2018-2019) created by their governing boards and governance committees.
