Robert Watson Pomeroy, Jr., Republican, served in the New York State Assembly from 1947 to 1964 as a representative of Dutchess County. He served as Chairman of the Joint Legislative Committee on Natural Resources and the Assembly Committee of Public Service, and was a member of many other Assembly committees.

Custodial History

These records were a gift to Syracuse University in 1966 by Robert Watson Pomeroy, Jr. They were transferred to the New York State Archives in June 2006 and accessioned during the summer of 2007.
