Summary
- The Governor's Electric Power Committee was appointed in 1967 to evaluate the growing electrical power needs of the state. Administrative History
The Governor's Electric Power Committee was appointed by Governor Rockefeller in 1967 to evaluate the growing electrical power needs of the state. The committee was charged with defining the future power requirements of New York and available public and private resources, and recommending the organizational and financial mechanisms necessary to assure future power needs at the lowest practical cost. Richard G. Folsom was commission chairman.
